  • Ohava is designed to be an AI-powered one-stop shop. People can type in anything they need, including requests we’re hearing for the first time or don’t have an existing partner for in their city. If we don’t have a partner for a service, our technology falls back to being an excellent personal assistant that asks questions to understand their request and works behind the scenes to find the best match among top-rated service providers.

    If the customer asks for a new category:

    -The customer gets started immediately with general home service questions and is informed we’ll be following up one more time

    -We’re currently able to develop industry-specific questions and a superior process to Thumbtack and Yelp in about 1 hour on average

    Key differences when we don’t have an existing partner:

    -We provide full details to the service provider and connect them to the customer, but it works more like a lead

    -If the customer said they were very satisfied with the service, we reach out to the business to explore the partnership, and if interested we follow our usual vetting process to ensure a good mutual fit

    -We will provide the full information you need to complete the job and we expect you to use your own system as you see fit
